Forestry and Rural Engineering

Syllabus Overview

Basic knowledge about forest regeneration and different management systems is acquired. Participants gain basic knowledge about forest seed management; reforestation and natural regeneration are thoroughly handled. Various technologies of growing forest planting stock are discussed. Different cutting methods in different tree species stands are learned. After attending the course, the participants must orientate in Asian forestry legislation and know the basic environmental restrictions concerning forest regeneration and fellings.
